Mt. Talamitam & Mt. Lantik Twin Hike in Nasugbu Batangas from Manila with Layong Bilog River
Description
Summary
Description
Trek to the summits of Mt. Talamitam and Mt. Lantik in Batangas on this twin hike day tour. The journey to these two peaks is perfect for beginners who want to conquer their first hikes as the trail is considered a minor climb. This tour is already inclusive of pick-up and drop-off within Metro Manila or Cavite, the service of a guide, side trips to Layong Bilog River and Tagaytay City, a personalized souvenir bag tag, and all necessary fees.
A driver will fetch you from your chosen pick-up point before sunrise. You will then make your way to Sitio Kayrilaw, a rural village located in Batangas, which also serves as the jump-off point for the hike to Mt. Talamitam. Here, you can have an early breakfast before undergoing the mandatory safety briefing for the ascent to the summit. Make sure to pack your own meals, however, as food is not included in this package. After listening to the safety guidelines, you will start the trek up Mt. Talamitam in Nasugbu, Batangas.
The trail to Mt. Talamitam's summit features no thick foliage but is covered in grass, so wear comfortable clothing and bring water to keep yourself cool during the trek. At the top, you will have a panoramic view of Mt. Batulao, another popular tourist attraction in Batangas, and the verdant trees that cover it and its surroundings.
After a short break here, you will head for the second peak for the day, the top of Mt. Lantik. Unlike the trek to Mt. Talamitam's peak, the trail to Mt. Lantik is bordered by trees and tall grass. When you finally reach the top of Mt. Lantik, you will be rewarded with a view of the surrounding mountainscapes and forests as well as Mt. Talamitam. Aside from the stunning view, you can also take photos with the heart- and circle-shaped decors here that are fashioned out of dry grass.
From the summit, you will descend to the Layong Bilog River. Feel free to go for a swim in the cool waters to soothe your body after the trip to the two peaks. There is also a small cascade at one side of the river that adds to the natural beauty of this humble stream. For more adventurous spirits, you can even dive from the nearby cliffs for a rush of adrenaline.
Following your time here, you will return to the jump-off point where you may change and freshen up. When you're good to go, you will head to Tagaytay City for a quick side trip before finally going back to your point of origin in Metro Manila or Cavite.
