The forest is actually the result of a project where farmers from a milling company started to plant bamboo shoots to help support the sugarcane and banana plantations in the area. This tourist attraction located in the municipality of Borbon is a viewing deck on top of the mountains, which is shaped like a ship. Take pictures of the lush surroundings and the ship itself before trying the dragon fruit shakes (own expense) at the snack bar or restaurant.
