Experience scuba diving for the first time through this Discover scuba diving tour in Coron, Palawan, one of the best diving destinations in the Philippines. As the course covers all the basics of diving, this is perfect for anyone interested in learning the ropes and exploring crystal waters. The tour comes with the service of an instructor, boat service, the use of all necessary dive equipment and tank, plus lunch and drinks. Take note that entrance fees to dive sites and transfers from and to your accommodations are not included.
Once you arrive at the Skylodge Resort Dive Shop, you will go through a classroom session with a seasoned instructor to learn the basics of scuba diving. During this session, you will cover topics like the function of each piece of scuba equipment, how to move underwater with your gear, and how to breathe underwater with your oxygen tank. Afterward, you will put on your scuba suit and the rest of the equipment and head out to practice the basics.
You will practice on shallow waters on how to move underwater and communicate with your instructor while diving. When you're comfortable with your ability to move with your gear underwater, you'll hop on a boat and cruise to the dive site.
You will be diving in a Coron wreck dive site. The options are Olympia Maru, Morazan Maru, Kogyo Maru, Iraku Maru, Akitsushima, and Okikawa Maru. These dive sites have different depths, but the allowable depth for this dive is only 18 meters. The dive site is determined on the day of diving and depends on the weather and availability.
During your dive, you are free to explore within the depth limit, but always make sure to follow the instructions and guidelines of your instructor. After the dive, you will be taken back to the mainland so you can continue exploring Coron on your own.

This day tour is designed to provide a safe, enjoyable, and fully accessible experience for children 14 years old and above.
An open water diving certificate is required, and a minimum 24-hour pre-flight surface interval is recommended. Divers on maintenance drugs must provide a Fit to Dive Consent Form from a physician. All divers must attend the pre-dive orientation and health assessment at Skylodge dive shop by 7:15 AM. Dive sites will be chosen based on weather conditions, and marine life sightings may vary. Optional dive equipment includes a 15L tank for longer dive times, a Nitrox tank for extended bottom times and less fatigue, and a dive computer for real-time dive safety tracking.
