Description

Go on a fun trip in Sagada with this Paytokan walking tour. With this private tour, you’ll be able to see some of the breathtaking heritage structures and mountain valley views of Sagada. With a ratio of one guide to every ten guests, you'll enjoy personalized attention as you explore. Please be informed that the access fee is already included in this tour. However, please note that pick-up and drop-off from your accommodations are not included.

This walking tour lasts about two to three hours, so make sure you're prepared for an adventure that will take you through some of the most beautiful and culturally significant spots in town.

As you begin your trip, remember to be respectful as you pass through religious and traditional areas. Keep your noise levels down and avoid shouting, as these are sacred spaces for the locals.

Your first stop on this tour is the Mission Compound, where you'll get a glimpse of the local religious community. From there, you'll head towards Baw-eng Creek, also known as Echo Valley Sagada, famous for its stunning cathedral rock formations. You'll then see the lush pine trees covering Mt. Kanip-aw.

As you continue your walk down the valley, you'll come across one of Sagada's most intriguing sights, the Sagada Hanging Coffins. These ancient coffins are a testament to the unique burial traditions of the indigenous people from Sagada.

Exiting the valley, you'll arrive at Matangkib, a cavern where a river flows into underground channels that connect to Sagada's renowned caves. Finally, your Sagada walking tour ends at Bokong, a small river leading to a natural swimming pool.

Make sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes or sandals, especially for the muddy and slippery parts of the trail from Hanging Coffins to Matangkib Cave during rainy weather. If you're up for it, you can even bring swimwear and take a dip in the refreshing waters of the Bokong natural pool. For an extra thrill, rock climbing is available at the Paytokan Wall.

Discover the underrated beauty of Sagada with this Sagada tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.
