Go spelunking in Sagada and experience an exciting adventure when you visit Sumaguing Cave. This Sagada cave activity is perfect for those who want a unique and thrilling experience where they can explore different cave formations and natural pools. The tour already comes with accommodation pick-up and drop-off within the town center and the assistance of a tour guide. This spelunking activity is available from 7 AM to 5 PM and runs for 2 to 3 hours.

With over 60 caves in Sagada, Sumaguing Cave is known as "The Big Cave" because of its big chamber. It is one of the most popular caves in the province and is mostly visited by thrill seekers and explorers.

Once you arrive in Sumaguing Cave, you will find a man-made staircase leading towards the mouth of the cave. Make sure to watch your steps, as there are slippery rocks along the way.

As you go along your adventure, you will find different rock formations, mostly similar to shapes like bears, turtles, or elephants. One of the notable rock formations inside the cave is the King's Curtain. Make sure to remove your footwear as you will walk on the slippery side of the cave. In a few more steps, you'll find limestones and basins where you can have a quick dip. You'll have to use the rope to guide you as you traverse the cave.

This spelunking activity is a challenging experience but refreshing and rewarding in the end. Make sure to wear light and comfortable clothes and sturdy footwear for your Sagada spelunking. Also, if you have it, bring a headlight to help guide you in the cave.
