Escape the heat and cool down by visiting two of Siargao’s popular water destinations on this exciting day tour. Taking you from the Sugba Lagoon to Magpupungko Rock Pool, this trip is an excellent activity while on your holiday in the province.
A van service will be picking you up at your accommodation in the morning and take you to the port. At the harbor, you will be transferred to a pump boat that will sail you across the sea to the island of Caob.
Nestled within Caob Island, Sugba Lagoon is a small lagoon featuring blue-green waters and a verdant green surrounding. You will be docking at the port here after your quick boat ride. Your guide will then lead you to the two-story wooden pontoon house, where you can leave your things.
Afterward, you are free to explore the site on your own. Go on a quick dip in the cool waters or try jumping from the wooden diving board in the middle of the lagoon. You can also check out the equipment for rent in the stalls and go snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and bamboo rafting. There are also savory barbecued meat and seafood dishes readily available at the pontoon house for reasonable prices.
From there, you will then travel to the eastern shore of Siargao, where the Magpupungko Rock Pools are hidden. These natural pools only appear during low tide and are surrounded by big boulders. Within walking distance from the pools is a beach with small restaurants that serve various local dishes and drinks. You can stop by to eat and wait for the beautiful sunset before going back to your hotel.
