This 2-hour surfing lesson in Siargao already comes with the use of a surfboard and the assistance of an instructor. This is perfect for those who want to experience surfing in the waters of Siargao Island in the Philippines but don’t know where to begin.
On the day of your Siargao surfing lesson, head to Happiness Beach Resort in General Luna. Look for the concierge so that they can introduce you to your instructor. After getting your surfboard and meeting up with your instructor, they will give you a briefing on what to expect, and then you will have a quick lesson on land. You will be taught the basics of surfing, including the proper way to stand up, as well as where to position yourself on the board for better balance.
When your instructor deems you ready, you will hit the water and wait for waves you can ride. Don’t worry, as your instructor will be nearby to assist you and ensure your safety. When you see a wave, try your best to catch it, stand up, and surf. If you don’t succeed the first time, just keep trying, and don’t forget to have fun through it all!
Your instructor will let you know when your two hours are up. They will assist you in heading back to shore and returning your board to the concierge of Happiness Beach Resort.
Please note that this lesson may be canceled in case of extreme weather conditions. In such cases, you will be entitled to a reschedule or a refund. However, no refunds or rescheduling shall be allowed for no-shows.

Before the Activity: Your surfing instructor will send reminders at least (1) day before the activity date through your registered email address or mobile number. Please keep all communiaton lines open.
Meet-up Information: Please proceed directly to Happiness Beach Resort Siargao Concierge, Brgy. Tourism Rd, General Luna, 8419 Surigao del Norte. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed voucher ready.
Activity Proper: All guests are expected to do their share in ensuring their safety and security as well as that of their personal belongings. Guide to the Philippines and Tour Operators are not liable for the loss or damage to any personal belongings left unattended during the activity.
Children Friendly: Yes! Children are allowed to join the tour with parental supervision.
Pet Friendly: No.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: Yes as long as they are physically fit to take surfing lessons. Please be reminded that this activity is not suitable for those with knee and hip trouble.
Cancellation Policy: The activity operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
