Siargao 2-Hour Surfing Lesson with Surfboard & Instructor

This 2-hour surfing lesson in Siargao already comes with the use of a surfboard and the assistance of an instructor. This is perfect for those who want to experience surfing in the waters of Siargao Island in the Philippines but don’t know where to begin.

On the day of your Siargao surfing lesson, head to Happiness Beach Resort in General Luna. Look for the concierge so that they can introduce you to your instructor. After getting your surfboard and meeting up with your instructor, they will give you a briefing on what to expect, and then you will have a quick lesson on land. You will be taught the basics of surfing, including the proper way to stand up, as well as where to position yourself on the board for better balance.

When your instructor deems you ready, you will hit the water and wait for waves you can ride. Don’t worry, as your instructor will be nearby to assist you and ensure your safety. When you see a wave, try your best to catch it, stand up, and surf. If you don’t succeed the first time, just keep trying, and don’t forget to have fun through it all! 

Your instructor will let you know when your two hours are up. They will assist you in heading back to shore and returning your board to the concierge of Happiness Beach Resort.
