Description

See the stunning Taal Lake and Taal Volcano up close with this boat tour that comes with a DOT (Department of Tourism)-accredited guide, the use of a life vest, and all entrance and boat station fees. This one-hour Taal Lake tour is perfect for those who want to get a closer look at the Taal Volcano, as the boat will get as close as 10 meters away from the natural wonder.

You need to meet with your guide at the scheduled time at Ram-Jam Resort in Talisay Batangas. Should you need transfers from the city, you may book add-on pick-up and drop-off from and to any hotel in Manila and Makati.

Once you have met up with your guide, you will head to the loading area, where you will board a boat. Note that the boat only allows a maximum of six passengers, including your guide, so only five travelers may board it at a time. Remember, you are not allowed to leave the boat at any time during the tour.

Put on your life vest, get settled in the boat, and be prepared to explore Taal Lake and the surrounding areas of the Taal Volcano. Among your stops on this tour is the Taal Lake fish ponds, which are a source of livelihood for local fisherfolk.

You will also see the aftermath of the 2020 Taal Volcano phreatomagmatic eruption, including houses, schools, and other buildings buried in ash. Taal Lake has also been declared a bird sanctuary, and during the tour, you may encounter beautiful birds, including egrets, crows, herons, coots, and grebes.

Other points of interest are the hardened lava rocks that you will see floating in the lake. These lava formations are the remnants of the past eruptions of Taal Volcano.

If the Taal lake and volcano tour seems a bit short to you, you may upgrade it to a two-hour tour that will allow you to see more lava formations and more remains from the 2020 Taal Volcano phreatomagmatic eruption.

After the Taal crater lake tour, you will head back to dry land. If you have booked add-on transfers, a driver will be waiting for you to take you back to Manila or Makati.

Get close to Taal Volcano and explore the wonders of Taal Lake with this boat tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.
