Description

Discover the culture and heritage of Manila, the Philippines’ capital, when you book this 4-day online class and virtual tour package. This package is perfect for those who are planning to go to Manila but want an overview of the city before their trip. With this package, you’ll enjoy 4 60-minute sessions that will teach you about the city’s history, language, traditions, and cuisine and bring you on a virtual tour of the capital.

The schedule of the sessions is flexible, and you can have it once a day for 4 days in a row, every other day, or once a week. Once you have decided on a schedule, your instructor will send you a link to a Zoom meeting, which will serve as the host for your sessions.

Your first session will be a class on the Tagalog language. This introductory lesson will teach you about the Filipino language, which is the local language you’ll hear most often in Manila. At the end of the class, you will learn basic phrases and simple sentences, which will allow you to introduce yourself to and interact with the locals on your visit.

In your 2nd session, you will learn about the history and traditions of Manila. The capital has a rich history and is a melting pot of cultures, and that reflects in the current culture and values of its citizens.

Your third session is also your last class and will tackle the food of Manila. From its unique street food to its delicious Chinese food, Manila is a place where you’ll never go hungry.

Finally, you’ll go on an hour-long virtual tour of Manila, which will take you to spots including the walled city of Intramuros and one of the world’s oldest Chinatowns, Binondo. After the tour, feel free to ask your tour guide about the best places to stay and eat at and the best activities to do when in Manila.
