Description

Learn about Pangasinan, its people, history, and tourist attractions with this online class and virtual tour package. If you’re planning to visit this coastal Philippine province in the future, this package is perfect for you as it comes with 4 60-minute sessions that will introduce you to the language, history, traditions, and food of Pangasinan, as well as take you its top tourist spots virtually.

Your 4 sessions may be scheduled once a day for 4 days in a row, but the schedule is flexible, so you may choose to have them every other day or even once a week. If you need to reschedule, make sure you have given your instructor enough advance notice. Once your schedule has been finalized, you will receive a link to a Zoom meeting, which will be the host of your 4 sessions.

Your first class is on the language of Pangasinan. Known as Pangasinense, it is the 8th most spoken native language in the country. Apart from Pangasinan, you’ll also hear it used in northern Tarlac. This class will teach you the basics of the language so you can communicate with locals using simple sentences.

Next, you will learn about the history and traditions of the province. Pangasinan is named after the rich salt beds, which for a time were the main source of livelihood for its locals. You can still see the influence of this agricultural lifestyle to this day.

The third class will focus on the cuisine of Pangasinan. Your instructor will introduce you to food that are must-tries when visiting the province, including pigar-pigar, a beef dish with cabbage and onions, and puto Calasiao, a special rice cake made in the town of Calasiao.

Your last session will be a virtual tour of Pangasinan’s top tourist sites, including the Hundred Islands National Park. After the virtual tour, your guide will be open for a trip consultation, and you may ask them questions like where to stay, what to do, and where to eat for your future trip.

Make your future trip to Pangasinan more enjoyable and hassle-free when you book this 4-session online package. Check the availability by choosing a date.
