Learn the basics of the Philippines' Bicolano language to make your visit more navigable with this 8-session beginner’s online course. This course includes eight 60-minute sessions and is perfect for those who want to learn the fundamentals of Bicolano or recall their basic knowledge of the language. By the end of the course, you should be able to understand basic Bicolano phrases and simple sentences.

Each hour-long lesson can be scheduled every other day, once a week for eight weeks, or once a day for eight consecutive days. If you need to reschedule, please notify your instructor as soon as possible. Following the verification of your schedule, you will get an email with a link to a Zoom meeting where your classes will be held.

In your first class, your instructor will guide you through an introduction. You'll learn your first Bicolano phrases, such as "Maugmang pagdatong," and in the second lesson, you'll build on those by learning how to speak to strangers. Numbers, hours, days of the week, and months will be the main topics of the third lesson, and in the fourth session, you'll participate in a roleplaying exercise with your instructor.

In your fifth session, you will learn terminology and phrases related to family, friends, and other relationships. In your sixth session, you will learn common verbs, and in your seventh lesson, you will learn practical Bicolano phrases and sentences that will allow you to order meals and ask for directions. You will have the opportunity to employ the new terms you've learned in all of your previous lessons during the roleplaying activity in the final session.

Gain an understanding of the basics of the Bicolano language when you book this online language course. Check the availability by choosing a date.
