Upgrade your Ilocano language-speaking skills through this 8-session intermediate-level online class. This course is best suited for those who already have a basic understanding of conversational Ilocano but want to expand their vocabulary and fluency. The course is made up of 8 sessions that each last for an hour to give you ample time to review, sharpen, and practice your knowledge of the Ilocano language.
While the classes are split into 8 sessions, you are free to schedule them however you like. You can either take them once a day for eight days in a row or spread them out every other day. If you ever need to reschedule a session, make sure to let your instructor know in advance as well. Your instructor will be a native Ilocano speaker who is also fluent in Filipino and English.
For your first class, you will be going through the basics of the Ilocano language again to prepare you for the more complex words and phrases you'll be learning throughout the course. In the second session, you will be taught what to say when you want to arrange a meeting with someone or schedule a meal with friends and family. Following this, your third lesson will cover adjectives that are commonly used by locals, including "napintas" (beautiful) and "naragsak" (happy). Then for your fourth online class, you will have a roleplaying activity with your instructor so you can practice your newly learned words and phrases.
During your fifth lesson, you will focus on what to say when visiting someone's home. Meanwhile, class six will be all about how to describe your emotions so you can better express yourself. In your seventh session, you will cover how to buy stuff so you can easily shop on your own when visiting the Ilocos region. Finally, the entire course will wrap up with another role playing activity, so you can practice having a conversation using the phrases you learned from your instructor.

This is a private class. Once confirmed, our operator will be providing a Zoom link to you via e-mail. There, you will have your private class for an hour per sub-topic. You may choose to change your preferred schedule. It may be on 8 consecutive days, every other day, or once a week.
Children Friendly: Yes. Children may book this package and can be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The operator may cancel a class in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Note that being late by 15-30 minutes without any advice is considered a no-show. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval.
