Description

Learn the fundamentals of the Philippines' Kapampangan language from the comforts of your own home with this 8-session beginner’s online course. This course includes 8 60-minute sessions and is perfect for those who want to learn the basics of Kapampangan, or recall their basic knowledge of it. By the end of the course, you should be able to understand basic Kapampangan phrases and simple sentences.

Each class lasts an hour and can be scheduled once a day for eight days in a row, every other day, or once a week for eight weeks. If you need to reschedule, please notify your instructor as soon as possible. After your schedule is finalized, you will be sent a link to a Zoom meeting where your classes will be held.

Your instructor will show you how to introduce yourself in your first class. Your first Kapampangan words will be taught, including "mayap a abak," and your second lesson will supplement the first by teaching you what to say while chatting with new people. Numbers, hours, days of the week, and months will be the emphasis of the third class. In your fourth session, you will participate in a roleplaying activity with your instructor to put what you learned in the prior three classes into practice.

During your fifth lesson, you will learn vocabulary and phrases connected to family, friends, and other relationships, such as "ima," "ibpa," "achi," and "koya." Your sixth lesson will focus on everyday verbs, while your seventh class will focus on practical Kapampangan phrases and sentences that will allow you to inquire about directions and place food orders. Through roleplaying during the last session, you will get the opportunity to try out the new terms you've learned in all of your prior lessons.

Understand the basics of the Kapampangan language when you book this online language course. Check the availability by choosing a date.
