Description

Learn conversational Filipino with this online language course for beginners. This online course is composed of 10 modules that will tackle the basics of Filipino grammar and everyday expressions you can use to interact with Filipinos. Each module lasts around 20 to 25 minutes, and you can choose your own schedule.

After booking this course, you will receive a link that will give you access to the interactive modules for the course. The schedule for this course is flexible, and you can change it to fit your routine. You can finish one module every day, every other day, or even once a week.

The first module will introduce you to the Filipino language and discuss the difference between Filipino and Tagalog, while the second one will teach you the Filipino alphabet and how to pronounce each letter, including Ñ and NG. For the third module, you will learn to introduce yourself and your family to new friends.

The fourth module will tackle numbers, counting, and how to tell the time and the date, while the fifth will focus on money and shopping. You’ll learn the most common adjectives used to describe people, places, food, and objects, including “maganda” (beautiful) and “mabait” (nice) in the sixth module, while verbs and their tenses will be explored in the seventh module. In the eighth module, you will study pronouns and when to use them.

You’ll learn how to order food and ask for directions in Filipino in the ninth module, while the final module will teach you basic phrases and expressions like “Mahal kita” (I love you) and “Ang cute mo!” (You are cute!). After finishing all modules, you should be able to have a grasp of basic Filipino.
