Skim the waves and feel the salty air on your skin as you go kitesurfing on this Boracay activity. If you’re the adventurous type of traveler looking to check off a heart-pumping experience to your bucket list while on the island, then this activity is perfect for you.
You will begin your tour by meeting up with your guide at Astoria Beach Front Station 1 or in front of Bolabog Beach. Once you reach the drop-off site, you will be welcomed by the instructor, who will brief you on the guidelines and safety precautions of the activity. They will also be providing you with the kitesurfing gear.
Kitesurfing or kiteboarding is an extreme water sport that combines sailing strong winds and surfing the waves. For some, it is a mix of wakeboarding, windsurfing, and paragliding. If you’re a beginner to the sport, imagine riding a surfboard while being pulled by a big kite. For experienced individuals in paragliding or wakeboarding, kitesurfing may be a little easier to transition to.
Because of Boracay Island’s location in the Western Visayas region, it gets really windy especially from mid-November to March. These months are collectively called as the kitesurfing season.
Once you finally learn wind navigation and basic kite flying, you will now be strapped to your board and huge kite. Make sure to hold on tight and enjoy the experience as the wind takes you across the waters at around 15 to 20mph. See the island from a whole new perspective. After the activity, you will be brought back to the shore.

Tour Information: This private tour is available daily from 09:00AM to 04:00PM. For safety purposes, pregnant women are discouraged to partake in this activity. Amihan season or Northeast Monsoon is approximately October to late March and Habagat or Southwest Monsoon season is approximately from June to September.
Meet-up Information: Guide to the Philippines will send tour reminders at least (1) day before the tour date through your registered email address. Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at Bulabog Beach at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. To arrange for a private hotel pick-up and drop-off, please email booking@guidetothephilippines.ph. Additional transportation fees apply.
Tour Proper: Please be reminded also to dress appropriately. Be mindful of your personal belongings during the tour.
Children Friendly: No. Only adults 18 and above may join this activity.
Pet Friendly: No. Please understand that the establishment does not allow pets inside.
Senior Citizen/PWD Friendly: This may be a medium to extreme activity so we suggest to consult with your physician before proceeding with your booking.
Cancellation Policy: The operator may cancel the activity in case of force majeure or unforeseen circumstances like weather conditions. In this case, you will be given the option to reschedule or request a full refund. Schedule cancellation requests must be made 48 hours before your original subject to approval. No shows are not entitled to reschedule and refund.
