Your guide will fetch you from your accommodation in Kalibo or Caticlan at 9 AM. From there, you'll make your way to your first stop of the day, the Jester Eco-Park. This 1.5-hectare resort and eco-park sits in the municipality of Balete and boasts sweeping views of Aklan's lowlands and mountains. Along with the views, travelers can also walk around this Balete eco park to immerse in nature as the property also grows various crops. There is also a swimming pool with surrounding cottages that you can rent for an additional fee.
After your time at the eco-park, you'll travel to Villa Julita, which spans about two hectares of land. This property is a living cultural village as it features a vast pineapple plantation which plays a crucial part in the province's traditional weaving practice. In Aklan, the locals use piña, a fiber made from the leaves of a pineapple plant, to create lace-like textiles that can be used to create clothing and more. The center also holds exhibitions or demos to educate visitors on the process of piña weaving.
Finally, you'll wrap up your day with a visit to the Meliton Integrated Organic Farm in Banga. This seven-hectare agri-tourism site grows various crops, trees, and livestock. During your time here, you can learn about the basics of farming and the importance of using organic practices as well. Following your fruitful visit to this farm, you'll be escorted back to your hotel or resort.
