Crystal Cove Island Resort
Crystal Cove Island Resort is a tropical escape situated in the municipality of Malay in Aklan. The island spans 2 hectares and sits between Boracay and Panay Island. Thanks to its white sand beach and the lively marine ecosystem surrounding it, it has become a popular stop for island-hopping as well.
Besides exploring the crystal waters by the resort, travelers can also enter two of the caves on the island or go trekking along its coast. Upon making your way through the caverns, you will be rewarded with great views of beautiful stalagmites and stalactite formations. The complex houses an aviary filled with several species of colorful birds and a museum that exhibits the culture and history of the island.
How to get there
Crystal Cove Island Resorts is located in the Sibuyan Sea. It is about 751 meters from the Tabon port on Caticlan Island and is approximately 2.10 KM away from the Boracay Jetty Port.
To get to the resort, travelers can take a boat from any of the two ports. For faster and smoother entry, you can also avail of island-hopping tour packages that make a stop at the Crystal Cove.
Tickets and entry
For those who are not staying at Crystal Cove Island Resort, there is an entrance fee that visitors have to pay before relaxing on its white sand beach. However, island-hopping packages may sometimes include this fee in the tour to make it more convenient for travelers.
Best time to visit
Travelers can visit the island and the resort all year round. It is open from 8 AM to 4 PM every day. The best time to go here is between March to early June when the weather is sunny, and there is only a small chance of rain.
However, expect large crowds during these summer months since locals and visitors alike tend to drop by for the summer holidays as well.
If you prefer a cooler atmosphere, visiting from November to February is also a great time to travel here.
