Felicidad Orchard is nestled in Brgy. Katangawan, General Santos City, and is the first agri-tourism farm in Region 12 accredited by the Department of Tourism. Along with being a tourist attraction, this 2-hectare farm also serves as a School for Practical Agriculture of ATI in the said region. Throughout the orchard, you can find a diversified range of agricultural production, from fruit-bearing trees, vegetables, herbs, ornamental plants, and organic rice to livestock such as pigs, chickens, and ducks.
Another highlight of the farm is that it is the prime mover of the vermiculture industry in Mindanao, which means that they produce quality crops that are grown organically. During a visit here, you can have a chance to plant organic rice and witness the actual process of vermicomposting. You can also indulge in a farm-to-table experience with delicious meals made from fresh farm-grown ingredients.
Best time to visit
It's best to visit the orchard during harvest season (around April to May) so you can see the produce when they're fully grown.
