Visit the famed Fish Port Complex located in Brgy. Tamber and be able to witness the booming seafood industry of the city. It’s called the Tuna Capital of the Philippines for a reason. If you want to see large tuna freshly catched and brought to the port, visit the 32-hectare complex early in the morning. Here you can witness how local fishermen weight, classify, and sort their fishes.
To complete your city excursion, head next to Plaza Heneral, which is strategically located at the center of the city alongside the City Hall and other establishments including schools, church, and hotels. Plaza Heneral is one of the busiest plaza in the city from different stalls selling street foods to people chilling, jogging, and biking around the plaza.
