German Island

German Island in Palawan

German Island is the local name for the 12-hectare private island located in San Vicente, Palawan. At present, the island is called Inaladelan Island Resort, which was launched as the latest camping destination in the province.

Inaladelan is unlike any of its kind that has a long and spacious area for tourists. It stands only on the tip of the island where a bed of white sand and coconut palm trees can only be found. The remaining parts of the island is a deep green forest, but the resort is big enough to accommodate tourists.

What to Expect

Inaladelan Island Resort provides lots of amenities for relaxation. There are wooden beach beds with a cool shade of a nipa hut near the shore. There are also plenty of hammocks tied to two coconut trees around the area. The resort offers a variety of activities for its visitors. Visitors can find a beach volleyball net by the sea. Various board games are also available to keep visitors entertained.

Aside from swimming, guests can go snorkeling and expect to see turtles in the water during their hatching season every January. The resort also offers fresh fruits and veggies and other delicious dishes for their hungry guests.

The resort does not offer any room accommodations, but they allow their guests to stay overnight in their provided camping tents complete with beds, pillow, and necessary sleeping gears. They also set up bonfires for their overnight stayers.

Nearby Attractions

There are other islands around Port Barton that can be visited. Among these islands are the Exotic Island and the Maxima Islands that were dubbed as twin islands due to their extreme closeness to each other.

In San Vicente town, tourists can stay at the Port Barton itself as it has plenty of room accommodations for the tourists. The houses located along the shoreline have turned themselves into small inns and restaurants, but the rest of the village remained quiet and simple.
