Lualhati Park is Coron’s baywalk. It is part of the reclaimed space which the government established to serve as the main anchorage for boats and ships traveling in and out of Coron. It is said that this place was erected in tribute of the town mayor’s mother.
It is very famous among tourists as it offers a panoramic view of the bay area and the island’s coastlines. The park is mostly used for relaxation, meet-ups, and jogging. Lualhati Park is also the common starting point of island hopping tours in Coron.
ite backdrop for photos, Lualhati Park doubles as one of the most popular spots for recreational activities. The site offers a spacious area for biking and running. There are also sheds and benches dotting the city where one can relax and admire the sea and the nearby mountain ranges like the Mt. Tapyas.
A short distance from the baywalk is Coron’s only zip line attraction. The zip line takes its riders from one end of the park to the other, with the lowest altitude almost touching the waters. The ride is located near the shore for safety reasons.
From Coron Town proper, ride a tricycle/jeepney going to Lualhati Park. You can also join a guided tour.
This is an all-year round destination which can be visited anytime.
