Information about Pinili Tourist Center
Pinili Tourist Center
The Pinili Tourist Center, which serves as a visitor center and an educational museum about garlic, seeks to concentrate the sale of garlic for agritourism, which will be advantageous to both suppliers and customers. This was a response to complaints from travelers about how unsafe it was to stop at roadside vendors to buy local goods like garlic. Visitors can also watch abel or loom weavers in action at the Pinili Tourist Center. The material was featured prominently in Ilocos Norte pageants, when contestants wore evening gowns almost entirely constructed of the material.
