Information about Rapha Valley
Rapha Valley
Rapha Valley is a health and wellness center with an organic farm in Salvador Benedicto, a municipality of Negros Occidental. The property was established by Dr. Albert Jo, a medical doctor and organic chef, during his fight with hypertension, asthma, and a rheumatic heart. In light of his illnesses, he recognized the need for a healthier lifestyle thus propelling him to create Rapha Valley and share his passion for healthy eating with others. He also manages the wellness center alongside his wife Marilou, who is a pharmacist.
All of the food served in Rapha Cafe, just one of the restaurants in the property, are meat-free. The restaurant also offers a detox program specially created by Dr. Jo. The type of food ranges from salads, sisig, and adobo – all created from ingredients handpicked from their farm. The Vegemeat Adobo won awards at the first Adobo Festival held in Silay, Bacolod.
Lodging facilities called “Casitas” are available for visitors and are equipped with basic facilities such as electric fans and television – nothing grand as the place promotes being one with nature in a farm environment. The family themselves decorated and did the interior design of the rooms. Alkaline water is served on the premises as this helps the body metabolize nutrients more effectively.
Tickets and entry
Tourists will need to pay an entrance fee upon entering the property. If you wish to go on a farm tour, their package already includes the entrance fee, welcome food and drinks, and a buffet lunch.
Best time to visit
Rapha Valley is open to the public all year round.
