Santa Cruz Parish
The Santa Cruz Parish Church is located in Manila's Santa Cruz District. Originally built during the Spanish colonial period to meet the spiritual needs of Chinese immigrants in Manila.
It is officially governed by the Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament and comes under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of Manila (SSS). St. Peter Julian Eymard founded the Congregation.
The portrait of Nuestra Senora del Pilar is also housed in the church.
How to get there
If you're coming from the Monumento or Baclaran areas, take the LRT-1 to Carriedo Station. You will simply walk to the Santa Cruz Parish Church from there. If the LRT-1 is not accessible, you can take a Jeepney to Carriedo.
If you're coming from Antipolo or Rizal, you can take the LRT-2 to Recto Station. You should walk from Recto to AVENIDA and then search for Jeepneys bound for Baclaran, Pier, Mabini, or SM Manila. Request that the driver drop you off at Santa Cruz Parish Church.
