Information about White House
White House
Located in Clark, Pampanga, the White House used to be the residence of the commander of the US Air Force when the area was still an American air base. It also served as the official guesthouse of the US military, often hosting dignitaries and other important guests. Today, it serves as the official Clark residence of the sitting Philippine President.
It is also the place where former President Manuel A. Roxas died on April 15, 1948. After giving a speech at the Kelly Theater in Clark, the President felt tired and was brought to the White House, where he suffered multiple heart attacks and eventually succumbed to heart failure.
Best time to visit
The White House may be visited year-round, but if you want pleasant weather, it’s best to schedule a trip during the dry, cool months, which are usually from December to February.
