Discover all the adventures you can experience in the Philippines
The only tiger safari in the Philippines, Zoobic Safari is situated in the middle of the forest of Subic Bay Freeport Zone. Here, guests are given the rare chance of meeting tigers up close while promoting awareness and concern for their species. It is the closest thing to an actual jungle safari in the country, taking approximately 3 hours to cover all its attractions.
Inside Zoobic Safari is the Tiger Safari, where guests can ride a safari jeep that will enter a close fence structure and see live tigers roaming around the area. In there, these big cats are free to get close to the jeep, sniff at it, or even tackle it, with the passengers safe inside. Other attractions include a hanging bridge and a forest trail, a petting zoo and animal observation area, and another train ride around an animal sanctuary, where wild boars, potbelly pigs, guinea fowls, and wild ostriches run wild. Those who seek an adrenaline-pumping attraction must visit the Croco Loco, a steel grated walkway with a pit of 200 crocodiles directly below it, and the Serpentarium where snakes, lizards, iguanas, and other reptiles are available for viewing.
From October to January, and March to May, the Night Safari is available, where guests are toured around the exotic sanctuary at night, making the safari ride more thrilling in the dark. Aside from the animals, there are also shows and a zipline available all year round.
Zoobic Safari is open daily from 8:00 am-4:00 pm, with an entrance fee of PHP 695 per adult. To get there, simply take a cab from Olongapo Victory Liner Terminal, and be dropped off at the Safari.
