You will meet up with your guide in the morning at the Spider Travel and Tours Office in Barangay Buena Suerte. Once there, your guide will discuss the day’s itinerary, starting with your first destination of the day, Popolkan Island. This island has a beautiful stretch of white sand and azure waters, perfect for snorkeling. Here, you may swim and snorkel to your heart’s content.
Next, you will head to Cudugnon Cave. This unique cultural landmark is believed to be a Neolithic burial place for people from Borneo. You can see various artifacts inside the cave, such as human bones, pottery, and jewelry pieces, to name a few. Aside from the artifacts, its exquisite stalactites and stalagmites will also leave you standing in awe.
From there, you will then make your way to Cathedral Cave. Distinct for its tapered high-ceiling entrance and pitch-dark depths, the cave is one of El Nido’s mysterious marvels. The extraordinary rock formation of the cave is an ideal backdrop for your travel photos.
Next, you will pay a visit to Snake Island, another popular El Nido destination. It has been named such because of the shape of the sandbar resembling the creature. Take out your camera and snap a shot of this postcard-worthy destination before heading to your next stop.
Your last stop will be Pinagbuyutan Island, also called Inabuyatan Island. The island features towering limestone cliffs that make it picturesque from any angle. On top of that, the site also has a rich aquatic ecosystem perfect for snorkeling.
While here, put on your mask and snorkel to see the vibrant marine life. Take a dip in the unspoiled beach or walk along the powdery white sand before heading back to the port.
