Summary
Description
Explore the waters and islands of Sagay Marine Reserve when you book this private Bacolod tour that will bring you to Carbin Reef and Panal Reef. This Bacolod island hopping tour is perfect for those who like exploring islands and sandbars and already includes primary entrance fees, hotel pick-up and drop-off within Bacolod City, and free use of a cottage.
On the day of your tour, wake up early as you will be picked up at your hotel or resort in Bacolod City at 7 AM. If you wish to be picked up from a different location, you must give advance notice. Note that this may mean a change in the itinerary, as well as the payment of an additional fee.
After you have been picked up, you’ll make your way to Sagay City in Negros Occidental. At the city’s port, you’ll board a boat that will allow you to explore the Sagay Marine Reserve. This marine reserve which covers 32,000 hectares, is the largest in the Philippines and is where you can find Carbin Reef and Panal Reef.
You’ll first head to Carbin Reef, located at the center of the marine reserve. Carbin Reef is a sandbar that is completely bare, save for several cottages. You may stay in one of the cottages or get a tan while relaxing on the white sand during your day tour in Sagay. The water is also perfect for swimming or snorkeling, so remember to bring your own gear if you have them.
After enjoying a Carbin Reef Sagay day tour, you’ll head to Panal Reef. While it also has clear waters and white sand, unlike Carbin Reef, Panal Reef has no cottages but is home to a watchtower. You may go up for an additional fee. You can also spend your time wading in the shallow waters or checking out the vibrant marine life by snorkeling.
Once you’ve explored both reefs, your guide will bring you back to the mainland and then drop you off at your accommodations in Bacolod City.
See stunning sandbars and enjoy the waters of Sagay Marine Reserve with this day tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.
