Description

Escape the heat and cool down by visiting some of Siargao’s popular water destinations on this exciting day tour. This trip is an excellent way to spend the day while on holiday on the island. The tour includes hotel pick-up and drop-off and service of a guide.

A van service will pick you up at your Siargao accommodation in the morning and take you to the port where you will board a pump boat that will bring you to the island of Caob.

Nestled within Caob Island, Sugba Lagoon is a small lagoon featuring blue-green waters and a verdant surrounding. You will be docking here. Your guide will then lead you to the two-story wooden pontoon house, where you can leave your belongings.

Afterward, you are free to explore the site on your own. Go on a quick dip in the cool waters or try jumping from the wooden diving board in the middle of the lagoon. You can also check out the equipment for rent in the stalls and go snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and bamboo rafting.

From there, you will then travel to the eastern shore of Siargao, where the Magpupungko Rock Pools are hidden. These natural pools only appear during low tide and are surrounded by big boulders. Within walking distance from the pools is a beach with small restaurants that serve various local dishes and drinks. You can stop by to eat so you can refuel for the rest of your tour.

Your next stop is Maasin River, where you’ll find one of the most photographed bent palm trees in the Philippines. Here you can ride a canoe or swing on a rope before jumping into the water. After that, you’ll head to Panghungawan Marsh, where you might see Philippine freshwater crocodiles. They are considered critically endangered, so this protected wetland is crucial for their survival.

Ready your camera as your next stop will be Coconut Mountain View, where you can see from above endless coconut trees that are abundant in the island. You’ll also be needing your camera for Maasin Coconut Road, where you will be heading next. Plenty of stunning shots in the island are taken from here, and this will be your chance to have your own set.

Your last stop will be at the world-famous Cloud 9, known as one of the best surfing locations in the world, thanks to waves that can go as high as 12 feet. Cloud 9 is for advanced surfers but fret not if you’re not on that level yet, as it’s still thrilling to watch the experienced surfers ride wave after wave. After a packed day, you will be brought back to your hotel where you can rest.

Discover the natural beauty of Siargao with this one-day water adventure. Check the availability by choosing a date.
