Description

See the natural wonders of Oslob and swim with whale sharks in the Philippines when you book this tour to the municipality in South Cebu. This tour already comes with the assistance of a tour guide, transfers, and pick-up and drop-off from and to your accommodations in Cebu City or Mactan Island, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.

You have an early pick-up time of 3 AM, so make sure you have enough sleep the night before. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Cebu City or Mactan Island, but you may also be picked up at the airport or seaport. Should you wish to be picked up at a different location, you may request this with the tour operator, but note that changes in the pick-up time and an additional fee may apply.

Once you are settled in the vehicle, you will head to Oslob. The journey will take around three hours, so use this time to get some rest. When you arrive in Oslob, you will board a boat that will take you to the whale shark watching area. You may join the whale sharks in the water, but don’t get too near the creatures to avoid disturbing them. For an even more special time, you may book an add-on scuba diving experience.

Afterward, you’ll head to Sumilon Island to see its famous shape-changing sandbar and swim or snorkel in its waters, which is a marine protected area. You’ll then make your way back to the mainland of Oslob to stop at Tumalog Falls. Marvel at the tall cliff from which delicate cascades of water flow, and enjoy the cool and turquoise waters at the natural pool.

Before heading back to your hotel, you’ll also visit Oslob Quartel, an unfinished Spanish structure from the 1800s, and Simala Shrine, a gorgeous monastery in the municipality of Sibonga. You’ll also drop by Carcar to shop for souvenirs and delicacies like chicharon, bocarillo, and ampao.

After a long day of exploring, you will be dropped off at your accommodations so you can rest.

Explore Oslob and its nearby tourist attractions with this day tour. Check the availability by choosing a date.

DISCLAIMER: Seeing whale sharks during this tour is NOT GUARANTEED.  Whale sharks are migratory animals and even during the whale shark season, there is a possibility that you may not encounter one during your tour.
