Aguinid Falls, with its unique beauty, distinguishes out among the various waterfalls that draw people to the south of Cebu. Despite it lacks the imposing height of the more popular Kawasan Falls, an hour away, its humble and hidden character endows it with unique beauty. The Tangbo River, which connects the falls, is high in calcium. This gives Aguinid Falls' rock and water a somewhat green color and makes the water slightly warmer than at other falls. 

Aguinid Falls is made up of five separate tiers that run down the Tangbo River, each with its own unique water tumbling. The other falls can only be reached by traveling through and ascending the limestone routes of the flowing waters up to the highest level. There were five waterfall levels to climb with a guide.

How to get there

The falls are best visited from the nearby beach town of Oslob, which is just 22km away and approximately a 30-minute drive. Rent a habal-habal or join a Cebu-guided tour that includes this destination for the best experience.

Best time to visit

It is open to the public daily from 8 AM to 5 PM.
