Ayala Nature Park

Ayala Nature Park, also known as Kan-irag Nature Park, is a watershed atop a mountain in Ayala Heights in Busay town. It is a natural habitat for animals, especially birds, with over 20 native species of birds finding their home here. Among them are the emerald dove, Asian glossy starling, the black-naped oriole, and collared kingfisher.

The nature park is a part of a 200-hectare property that was supposedly reserved for a high-end residential project. However, the Ayala Land real estate company, which owns the area, later chose to transform the 71-hectare property into what it is today. Ayala Nature Park offers several recreational and environmental activities for guests, such as hiking, camping, biking, bird spotting, and tree planting.

From the park, guests can also catch glimpses of flower fields over a hundred meters away and panoramic views of the nearby barangays. Upon reaching the top of the park, you will find a viewing deck as well, where you can catch your breath before heading back down.

How to get there

It is best to take a private car or hire a van to get to the Ayala Nature Park, which you can find on Google Maps.

Tickets and entry

Travelers must pay a certain amount to enter the park grounds.

Best time to visit

The park is open daily from 8 AM to 5 PM all year round. It is recommended to visit between November and May when the weather is drier. There are also fewer chances of rain during these months, so you can fully enjoy the facilities and activities the park offers.
