Edge Coaster

Edge Coaster is an exhilarating fun ride offered in the Crown Regency Hotel and Tower located on Osmeña Boulevard in Cebu City. It is a part of the attraction of the Sky Experience Adventure, the amusement complex found on top of the hotel, specifically, the 38th floor.

The Edge Coaster is an adrenaline-pumping ride that is not suited for the faint of heart. As the name suggests, it coasts around the edge of the building. One compartment can accommodate two riders who are strapped and locked onto a railing. As the ride begins to move, it allows them to have an amazing 360 degrees’ perspective of their surroundings.

To add more thrill to an already edgy experience, the two-seat cab has a control lever that allows the rider to tilt their seat compartment up to a 55-degree angle and catch sight of the view that is about 130 meters below.  The Edge Coaster ride takes about four minutes to complete the outer rim of the hotel. 

How to get there

As it is situated within Cebu City, you can take any jeepney or bus that passes through Osmena Boulevard. Simply inform the driver or conductor that you are getting off at the Crown Regency Hotel. Otherwise, you can hail a taxi or ride a private car straight to the hotel. 

Tickets and entry

Tourists must pay a fee to ride the Edge Coaster. This is on top of the entrance fee required to gain access to the Sky Experience Adventure, where the ride can be found. 

Best time to visit 

The Edge Coaster is open from 2 PM to 12 midnight from Mondays to Fridays, then 10 AM to 1 AM on Saturdays, and 10 AM to 12 midnight on Sundays. Since it is an outdoor attraction, it is best to visit during the dry season which is between the months of November to April so you can get a clear view of the city.
