Location and Topographical Setting
Bugang River is in the municipality of Pandan in Antique, accessible via a short bus and a tricycle ride from Caticlan, or a direct van ride from Kalibo, Aklan. The river stretches for at least six kilometers, with its headspring is recorded with at least 30 meters deep. The water traverses throughout the municipality of Pandan.
The river also serves as the city’s main source of water as a nearby pump and filtration system is provided that supports and supply the water of the city.
