The Cambuhat River and Village Tour is situated in Buenavista, Bohol. It is an environmentally sustainable village enterprise owned and operated by the Cambuhat Enterprise Development & Fisheries Association (CEDFA). It depicts picturesque country life as well as local management of the river, waterway, and mangrove forests.
Paddle with a fisherman down a mangrove-lined river and enjoy oyster farming demonstrations. Meet villagers and listen to their stories about their culture and the importance of river management, and see how traditional handicrafts are made.
Tagbilaran City, the key entry point to Bohol, is just a one-hour and fifteen-minute flight from Manila and 20 minutes from Cebu. Buenavista is 82 kilometers north of Tagbilaran City, along the national highway, and is accessible by land (bus or private car) and boat via Tubigon.
The best months to visit this attraction are from November to April, which are the warmest months in the province. The attraction is open from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
In order to enjoy Cambuhat River to its fullest, you have to pay a tour fee.
