For tourists who are thrill-seekers, Danao Adventure Park is a must-visit destination in Bohol. Located in Barangay Magtangtang, it is where the longest and tallest zip line in the Philippines is found, humorously called the “sui-slide”, among other adrenaline-packed activities.
The park offers three types of experiences for their guests. Extreme Adventure Tour is specified for tourists who want to try exciting rides, such as the Plunge (free-fall), sui-slide, cable cars, and rappelling. Educational Adventure Tour, on the other hand, focuses on the cultural heritage and the preservational efforts of the community to nature, like their organic farming methods and Francisco Dagohoy’s importance in Philippine history, a native of Danao, Bohol.
Lastly, Ecological Adventure Tour is for those tourists who wish to connect more to their surroundings. Here they offer calm activities like bird watching, kayaking, and on-site organic farm visiting.
How to get there
Danao Adventure Park sits about 73 KM from Tagbilaran City, Bohol’s capital. Guests can visit Danao Adventure Park from Tagbilaran by taking a bus to Danao at Dau terminal. From the Danao terminal, rentable motorcycles (habal-habal) can take them directly to the Park.
Tickets and entry
Tourists need to pay a certain amount to gain access to Danao Adventure Park and its tours. For a faster and smoother entry, you can join tour packages that already include the Park’s entrance fee.
