Information about Isla Naburot Resort
Isla Naburot
Located in the municipality of Jordan in Guimaras, Isla Naburot is a private island that is home to a resort that started as a vacation property for the owners. There are six huts or villas on the island, one for each of the six children in the family. Eventually, word about this quiet and private retreat spread, and the family started accepting guests.
Because of its humble beginnings, the accommodations and amenities here are pretty simple. While the resort has solar power, don’t expect electricity 24/7. The main hall itself is just a rustic open-air structure made of wood. Because it is mostly unspoiled, the island has an abundance of breathtaking nature views. If you truly want to go off the grid and have a relaxing vacation, you’ll get it at Isla Naburot.
There are many activities you can enjoy when you stay at the resort, including swimming and snorkeling.
Tickets and entry
Since the island is private, you need to book a stay at the resort to enjoy it. The cost per person varies depending on the season and the type of accommodations, but usually, it already comes with full board meals and roundtrip transfers from the mainland.
Best time to visit
Because it is a tropical destination, it’s best to visit Isla Naburot during the dry season, which usually falls from December to May.
