Malatan-og Falls in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental is known as the Cigarette Falls and is well worth a stop. It is the island's tallest waterfall. A highly recommended activity for nature lovers, depending on your pace, the trail will take you at least 30 minutes. 

The falls themselves are magnificent, reaching the height of a four to five-story building. You are free to bathe and enjoy the cool waters at the falls. There are no stores near the falls, and there is no toilet or changing area. Bring your own snacks, but please remember to bring your trash. 

How to get there
Take a bus to San Carlos from the bus terminal, then get off at Malatan-og Viewing Deck. Then, go to the viewing deck and hire a guide. Finally, descend for 30 to 45 minutes to the falls.
