A visit to Dumaguete City is not complete without a stop to Freedom Park. officially called Ninoy Aquino Freedom Park in honor of the well-known leader in the Philippines. Ninoy Aquino Freedom Park is lined with giant century-old acacia trees and flower bed paths. For those that are tired, the benches are carefully positioned in the park.
With the stunning Provincial Capitol in the middle and the magnificent Mt. Talinis in the distance, this area provides a clearly mesmerizing background for a picture-perfect shot. It is home to several activities organized by both the city and the province of Negros Oriental. Freedom Park is also used as a parade ender because after a parade, it is the spot where all the participants in the parade come together.

The park is near Domestic Airport, which takes about 10 minutes. You can join a guided tour or ride a jeepney going to this destination.
