Information about Panublion Museum
Panublion Museum
This museum, located in Roxas City, Capiz, was once a water tank that serviced the locals during the dry season. After a new water delivery system was established, in the 1990s, it was converted into the city museum called Panublion Museum.
Its name is Hiligaynon, which means “the guardian of precious things.” It is an apt name, as inside, you’ll find memorabilia and artifacts that will allow you to learn more about the history and the culture of Roxas City and Capiz. The museum is also home to artwork created by some of the province’s up-and-coming artists, as well as the most prominent ones.
Tickets and entry
Entrance to the museum is free, but some events allow only a limited amount of people, so prior registration is required.
Best time to visit
Panublion Museum is open on weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM. While the museum doesn’t get crowded, there are usually fewer people in the morning than in the afternoon. Since the museum is an indoor attraction, you may visit it year-round
