Information about Pepita Park
Pepita Park
In Bucalbucalan, Sorsogon City, there is a rest spot for tired travelers called Pepita Park and Paroja Hill & Grotto. The location offers not just fresh air and shade, but also stunning views of Sorsogon Bay and Mt. Bulusan from the intriguing crab-shaped observation deck.
The sign beside the entry states that it was constructed in 1974, under the presidency of His Excellency President Marcos, under the direction of Hon. Secretary of the Department of Public Highways, Baltazar Aquino. And Mrs. Pepita Aquino, National Chairman, Highway Beautification Projects, took on the initiative. This would seem to explain the name Pepita Park.
How to get there
Legazpi Airport in Albay is the closest airport to Sorsogon. Take a bus or van to Sorsogon from there.
Best time to visit
