Sonya’s Garden

Located in Alfonso, Cavite (near Tagaytay), Sonya’s Garden has been a go-to for organic food and lush gardens since it first opened in 1998. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes like salad using ingredients from the garden, vegetarian pasta, hearty entrees, and indulgent desserts. Their daily set menu allows you to eat all you can, satisfying those with big appetites.

Sonya’s Garden also has a bed and breakfast, as well as a spa, which allows you to make it your home base when exploring nearby Tagaytay tourist spots. It has a total of 26 cottages, and accommodations come with lunch or dinner and breakfast. 

Sonya’s Garden has also become a popular venue for pre-nuptial photo shoots, weddings, birthdays, and proposals. It also offers classes in organic farming and setting up your own bed and breakfast. You can also purchase and take home products like bread, soap, and lamps from its own shop.

Tickets and entry 

Entrance is free, but it is recommended that you make a reservation because similar to nearby Tagaytay restaurants, Sonya’s Garden can become easily full, especially during weekends and holidays.

Best time to visit 

The restaurant at Sonya’s Garden is open from 7 AM to 7 PM. If you prefer a quiet visit, it is best to go outside of the usual lunch and dinner hours, from 3 PM to 5 PM. For those staying at the bed and breakfast, you can check in any time from 2 PM to 7 PM.
