Information about Station 1
Boracay’s Station 1 is a portion of the island’s famous White Beach. It is best known for the rock formation called Willy’s Rock that juts from the waters just a short walk from the white-sand shore. It is also where most luxury resorts, such as The Lind Boracay and Astoria Boracay, are located. Most Station 1 resorts also have pools that face the beach, offering a stunning view of the horizon and the sunset.
How to get there
Travelers can take a car or ride a tricycle from Boracay Jetty Port directly to the station, which is about 4.1 KM away. Meanwhile, if you’re staying in a resort in Station 1, you can usually request a private shuttle to pick you up from the port.
Best time to visit
Station 1 and the resorts here are open to guests all year round. The best time to visit is from November to April when the weather is cooler, and there are fewer chances of rain. It is also recommended to visit Willy’s Rock during low tide since it is easier to walk there and climb its steps.
