Information about Tinago Falls
Tinago Falls
Located in the middle of a rainforest in the municipality of Caibiran, Biliran, Tinago Falls is a picturesque cascade that stands at around 27 meters high. It is surrounded by lush foliage, and at the bottom of the falls is a natural pool bordered by huge boulders. Biliran’s Tinago Falls offers a quiet spot for those who just want to be close to nature. In fact, its name literally means “hidden,” as it used to be hard to access. Even now, when it is easier to reach, its serene atmosphere still befits its name.
Visitors can swim and cool off at the catch basin but are advised to say in the shallow areas as some portions of the pool can be really deep.
