When you arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), a guide will meet you and you'll be transported to Astoria Plaza for your check-in and the start of your quarantine. When you check-in, you will be given a complimentary sanitation kit. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be brought to your room daily throughout your stay. You will be advised about your mandatory RT-PCR test that you need to take on the 5th quarantine day (if fully vaccinated) or 7th quarantine day (if unvaccinated or partially vaccinated). Should you experience any symptoms of COVID-19 before the pre-arranged test, please inform the hotel personnel right away. A health or BOQ officer will assess you and see if you need any immediate medical care or follow-up tests.

Philippine Arrivals Testing & Quarantine Protocols

Effective December 3, 2021, the following testing and quarantine protocols for arriving international travelers in all ports of entry coming from countries/territories/jurisdictions not classified as a Red List country/territory/jurisdiction under IATF Resolution 151-A (s.2021) shall be observed. Source: IATF 152, December 2, 2021

Vaccinated

• Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure

• Facility based quarantine until release of negative results

• 5th day swabbing

• Home quarantine until 14th day from arrival

Unvaccinated, Partially Vaccinated, Unverified

• Negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure

• Facility based quarantine until release of negative results

• 7th day swabbing

• Home quarantine until 14th day from arrival

Notes:

• The testing and quarantine protocols of Minors shall follow the testing and quarantine protocol of the parent/guardian traveling with them, regardless of the minor’s vaccination status, and country of origin. RT-PCR test exemption of minors 3 years old and below as of December 6, 2021

• Unless symptomatic, minors 3 years and below, shall not be required to present a negative RTPCR test result

• Symptomatic minors 3 years and below shall be subject to the usual testing, and quarantine procedures for international arriving passengers.

Room Occupancy Guidelines

Based on the guidelines issued by the Department of Tourism (DOT), Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF – EID) and the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ), single occupancy stays should be observed.

Exceptions for double occupancy may apply if you belong to any of the guest profiles mentioned below and are able to provide the requirements listed:

1. Persons from the same household traveling together

• Copy of ID’s with the same home address;

• Proof of billing including both guest names;

or Affidavit confirming that both guests belong to the same household

2. Guests traveling with a minor (18 years of age and below)

• Copy of ID reflecting the birth date of the minor

3. Guests such as Senior Citizens and/or travelers with medical emergencies:

• Copy of Senior Citizen/PWD ID;

• Medical Certificate indicating chronic medical illness

If none of the above guest profiles apply to you, you may try and seek approval from the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) by providing your complete guest profile details and reason for room share request. The request should be sent to the email address that corresponds to the airport you will arrive at:

For repatriated OFWs and ROFs under quarantine, double or multiple occupancy in rooms shall be pre-approved by the quarantine medical officer (QMO) on duty stationed at the NAIA terminals.
