This diving package will let you experience a total of 20 fun dives under the supervision of a PADI-certified instructor. It also includes a 12-day stay in a deluxe room at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort and round-trip transfers from Mactan to Moalboal and vice versa.

Moalboal is a beautiful coastal town in Cebu that is famous for its all-year-long sardine run. It is also home to sea turtles, impressive coral gardens, and colorful exotic fishes. With almost 20 dive sites, Moalboal is a world-famous underwater paradise teeming with abundant marine biodiversity.

This trip is ideal for divers with an open water dive certification. To sign up, you must be at least 10 years old and in good physical health. You should also bring your open water dive certificate with you.

Before your actual dives, you will attend a short orientation for the briefing session and equipment preparation at Cebu Fun Divers, a certified dive shop located inside Cebu Seaview Dive Resort. Your PADI-certified instructor will brief you about what to expect throughout your fun dives.

On this trip, there is a designated dive site that you will visit per day. Entrance to Cebu Seaview Dive Resort

Day 1 - Day 1: Check-in + Orientation

Upon arrival, you will check in at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort, where you will be staying in a deluxe room for 12 days and 11 nights. You will attend a short orientation at the Cebu Fun Divers, the official dive shop of Cebu Seaview Dive Resort. Your instructor will facilitate the lectures about the fundamentals of scuba diving and what to expect during the trip. Enjoy your stay at Cebu Seaview Dive Resort, a 3-star beachfront resort that offers over 20 rooms with a balcony overlooking the Tañon Strait. Day 2 - Day 2: White Beach Dive

On your 2nd day, you will start your day taking a hearty breakfast at the resort. You will gear up to prepare for your 1st fun-filled diving adventure at White Beach. Explore the vast underwater sanctuary of White Beach and discover hundreds of marine species. This diving spot is known for its sandy slope with flounders and garden eels toward the reef top. As you dive deeper, you will find different aquatic creatures like ghost pipefishes, scorpionfishes, nudibranchs, triggerfish, and reef fishes. At the end of your first fun dive, you will head back to the resort to have dinner.

On Day 3, you will have an early departure for your next fun dive. Feel the adrenaline rushing through your body and prepare your scuba diving equipment ahead of time. Your 2nd fun dive will take place at The Sardine Ball, a dive site famous for its magnificent sardine run. You will see a school of sardines congregating and merging in perfect unison. Expect to get a bit overwhelmed with this breathtaking phenomenon that unfolds in front of you. Remember to stay close to your guide. The sardine ball constantly changes its shape as it spreads out up to 15m.

Day 4 - Day 4: Airplane Wreck Dive

On your 4th day, you will explore another stunning underwater spot in Moalboal. Listen carefully while your instructor briefs you about what to expect at your next destination. You will take your 4th fun dive at an artificial reef known as Airplane Wreck. In the 1990s, Lancair decided to donate the aircraft to serve as an artificial coral reef project. Since then, hundreds of marine species have found a unique underwater home beneath the wreck’s dilapidated walls and rusty engines. The dive site is about 22m deep, and you can find a 20m drop-off in front of the plane wreck.

Day 5 - Day 5: Sunken Island Dive

On your 5th day, you will experience another challenging yet exhilarating diving adventure. Gear up and prepare to navigate strong currents on your next diving destination. Your 5th fun dive will take place at Sunken Island, an underwater mountain in Moalboal’s open sea. The top of the mount stretches up to 25 meters below the surface. Due to strong currents, divers should be careful in navigating the deep waters. Make sure to stay close to your guide and keep your eye out in the deep blue for occasional sightings of massive creatures like jackfishes, batfishes, and sharks.

For your next fun-filled dive adventure, you will explore Tongo Point Marine Sanctuary, one of the best well-protected dives sites in Moalboal. It boasts breathtaking coral formations and a wide variety of marine creatures. The reef top is covered with hard and soft corals. On your 7th day, you will explore the next destination on your list. Before you proceed to your next diving adventure, you will prepare your scuba gear, wetsuit, scuba tank, fins, snorkel, and other essential equipment that you need. Your instructor will guide and accompany you before and during the actual dive. You will visit Turtle Marine Sanctuary, a protected diving spot in Moalboal that shelters giant hawksbill and green sea turtles. Your guide will help you locate the turtles that may have camouflaged beneath the reefs. Apart from its rich marine biodiversity, the sanctuary also features beautiful coral gardens.

On Day 8, you will take a 15-minute boat ride to the nearby Pescador Island. It is situated less than 2km away from the Cebu Seaview Dive Resort. You will soon arrive at Pescador, a rocky island that shelters giant sea turtles and a wide variety of marine creatures. The seafloor at Pescador goes beyond 300m deep. Before plunging into the waters, you have to prepare and wait for your instructor’s go-ahead signal. The Cathedral Cave is one of the stunning dive spots at Pescador Island. It is an underwater cave that stretches from 18m up to 30m deep.

Day 9 - Day 9: Ronda Bay Marine Sanctuary Dive

On your 9th day, you will proceed to the next diving destination on your Moalboal itinerary. You will take a 20-minute boat ride to Ronda Bay Marine Sanctuary, one of the first marine sanctuaries in Moalboal. Also known as Saavedra Marine Sanctuary, this stunning dive spot stretches up to 40m below the surface. It boasts hundreds of giant fan corals and other marine creatures. You can also spot pygmy seahorses and ghost pipefishes at 25m depth. There is even a good chance that you’ll encounter blacktip reef sharks. After your exhilarating dive adventure, you will head back to the resort.

The underwater caves serve as paths for sea turtles, whale sharks, eagle rays, and large schools of razor fishes. The marine sanctuary is also home to different marine creatures, including moray eels, sea snakes, snappers, sweetlips, big mouth mackerels, and sardines.

Day 11 - Day 11: Free Day

On the 11th day of your vacation, you may opt to have a relaxing staycation at the resort. You can dine on a mouthwatering breakfast at the seaside restaurant. Afterward, you can go for some laps at the infinity pool while overlooking the gorgeous seascape. Make the most of your free day and visit some of the nearby scenic attractions in Moalboal. You can go on an island-hopping (add-on) tour or try canyoneering at Kawasan Falls (add-on), which is only 20km away from Panagsama Beach. After a fun-filled day, you can relax and lounge on White Beach while waiting for the sunset.

Booking Information - Upon booking, please expect an email from Guide to the Philippines for the voucher, reminder, and next steps.

Dive Reminder - Please remember that divers are not allowed to fly for minimum 18 hours from their last dive. It is recommended to have 5 days for the course and 1 day to rest before flying back. Dive schedules are subject to change depending on the weather.

Hotel - Standard check-in time is 1400H and check out time is at 1200H. Requests for early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and fees. Refundable incidental deposit is required upon check-in. Guest/s are required to present a valid credit card guarantee or cash deposit. Bookings for one person will be arranged in single rooms, and bookings for two or more people will share a twin/double, or triple room(s). Children will be arranged in the same room with their parents. If additional room(s) is needed and for special requests, additional costs will incur. Child rate includes existing bed sharing arrangements with adults and complimentary tour/s (if any). Maximum of 2 children per room. Child rate is exclusive of daily breakfast and to be paid directly to the hotel.

Complimentary Tours and Activities (if any) - Make sure to have the electronic copy of your confirmed tour voucher ready. On the day of the tour, your assigned Tour Guide will meet you at the designated meeting place. For those who have availed complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off, your Tour Guide will meet you at the hotel lobby at least thirty (30) minutes prior to start of the tour or activity. Strictly no latecomers or tour reservation might be forfeited. During the tour, please be reminded to dress appropriately depending on the nature of your tour. Be mindful of your personal belongings.

Peak Season Bookings - All bookings passing through December 24 and 31 are required to avail of the mandatory Christmas and New Year's Eve Dinner. Prepayment is required and can be paid in advance through Guide to the Philippines or direct to the hotel on the day of check-in.
