Information about Badian
Badian
Badian is a third-class municipality in the Philippines' province of Cebu. It is bounded on the north by Moalboal, on the west by the Tanon Strait, on the east by Dalaguete, and on the south by Alegria.
The Poblacion is Badian's principal barangay, situated in the town's center. It is Badian's only urban barangay and the most populated. It houses the hospital and the marketplace, which is where the majority of trade occurs. Numerous vendors from all over town are here on weekends.
The Kawasan Falls, a three-tiered waterfall, is one of the province's most popular tourist attractions. Additionally, there is the Badian mountain range and Osmena Peak, a popular trekking destination.
Zaragosa or Badian Island is included in the town's jurisdiction, which features a white sand private beach from which snorkeling and diving events can be planned. Moalboal, which is adjacent to Pescador Island, is known for its corals and aquatic life.
Additionally, the town is dubbed Cebu's "Banig Capital" due to the town's primary commodity, the "Banig," a woven Pandanus mat.
