Information about Bulog Dos Island
Bulog Dos Island
Bulog Dos is a stretch of sandbar among the famous beaches of the Calamianes archipelago in Coron, Palawan province. Of these stops, Bulog Dos is the smallest, requiring less than an hour to tour. Staying long, however, will be rewarding: the sand is creamy to the touch and the surrounding water sparkles aquamarine that you squint your eyes to see. A few meters beyond the sandbar are a bed of seagrass and dazzling corals, among which stingrays have been spotted. Unlike many spots in Coron, the water here does not have sea urchins, so it will be worry-free indeed to swim or snorkel. You can also rent a kayak to explore further.
How to get there
Guided tours that will cover Malcapuya, Banana, and Bulog Dos islands are commonly priced per boat for 2 to 4 persons. You can also charter a boat from Coron Town Proper.
