Information about Busai Falls
Busai Falls
Located in the municipality of Kawayan in Biliran, Busai Falls offers a unique waterfall view that can only be fully appreciated when you see it head-on. The cascade itself is flanked by rock faces, plants, and trees on both sides, so viewing it from other angles may be a challenge.
To get there, you need to go on a 15-minute hike along the banks of the Ungale River. After arriving at the waterfalls, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in its pristine waters or just take in the lush forest view that the place provides. It’s not as tall as other waterfalls in the province, but what it lacks in height, it makes up for in character.
Tickets and entry
There are no entrance fees to enjoy the waterfalls, but it may be best to hire a guide to take you there to avoid getting lost.
Best time to visit
The path to the falls may be slippery and wet during the rainy season, so if you can, time your visit to Busai Falls during the dry months of November to May.
