Information about Hagukan Cave
Hagukan Cave
One of the must-see sights when visiting Bucas Grande Island's Sohoton Cove is Hagukan Cave. The whole size of the cave is said to be up to 30 meters. Visitors are expected to swim as the cave is located inside the island's aquatic region.
The Luminescent Cave is another name for Hagukan Cave. This is as a result of the stalactites or rock formations inside the cave, which brilliantly reflect any sources of light, creating that lovely radiance.
Since it is a landlocked attraction, you can only leave from the same entrance. Visitors must swim down and hold their breath for at least five seconds in order to enter the cave. As a result, it is suggested that travelers have tour guides to help them navigate the Hagukan Cave.
How to get there
From Sayak Airport, take a bus or a vehicle to Dapa Port. From Dapa Port, take a boat for hire to Bucas Grande. For a more convenient vacation that includes both land and boat transfers, you may also join a Bucas Grande shared or private tour.
